Returns Policy

Returns:

We accept returns of standard size outfits from our Brands and Casuals categories. Please email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order ID and reason for return. Item must be returned within 14 days of receiving order.
To be eligible for a return your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all tags and original packaging complete. Your refund will be credited back to the original payment method within 14 days from when we receive your item. Please note that it may take your bank 5-7 working days to credit your account. 
Our made to measure clothing (custom stitched, bridal, formal, menswear) are on a no refund/exchange basis and exempt from the above 14 day policy. Please read further below.

Returns Period:

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you are entitled to a refund to the original payment method for purchases made on our website provided you notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your order. You can email us at enquiries@chaandbazaar.com

Credit Notes:

If a credit note has been used to pay for part or the whole part of an order any return within that order will be refunded first in credit notes to the same value that was originally spent in credit notes. Any remaining balance will then be refunded to the original payment method.

Shipping Charges:

We do not refund shipping charges or reimburse return shipping charges for non faulty items. 
If you are returning faulty goods then we will reimburse you for the standard delivery charge of up to £3.90 for returning the goods to us.
If you have availed free shipping offers then the cost of this will be deducted from any refunds.

Request To Exchange:

If you’re not entirely happy with your purchase you have 14 days from receipt to notify us of your wish to exchange an item.
Please complete our returns for here to request an exchange. Upon receipt of your return we will issue you with a credit note which you can then use to cover the cost of your new item.
Please note that we are unable to reserve items with a view to exchange.

Returns Outside Return Period:

Our system will automatically deny return requests after the period of 14 days from receipt. If such goods are still sent back to us, we reserve the right of not offering you a refund.
We would in such a scenario need to send the item back to you which will incur an addition shipping charge which would be payable by you upon request.

Your Responsibility & Our Liability:

If you intend to return a purchase, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods. Such goods remain your responsibility until they reach us in the same condition to when you received the same goods. 
All goods will be inspected upon being received by us so please refrain from damaging the goods during inspection or whilst you try them on for size, including the original packaging and labels/tags.
We do not accept liability for any goods which do not reach us. We therefore advise that any goods which are returned are done so using a recorded delivery service and proof of postage is retained. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange in the event of damage being caused to our goods.
It is your responsibility to ensure you’re aware of our returns policy and we will not take any liability or offer any flexibility for non compliance with this policy.

NATURE OF GOODS

Majority of our items are hand embroidered and therefore fragile in their usage whilst having a 5%-10% variation possibility. By placing an order on our website you accept the possibility of variation in comparison to the images provided on this website. 
From time to time beading/ sequences may get displaced and this is not regarded as a fault but is due to the nature of the work. These garments should be worn with care. 
Please note that all clothing products sold on this website are recommended to be dry-cleaned. We will not be responsible for any claims resulting due to damage caused by washing using another method or claims for variation / and or beading/sequences displacement.

Made To Order Products:

Our bridal, formal, menswear and custom stitched are all made to order items and hence are exempt from the above returns policy. These items are on a no refund/exchange policy.
In the unlikely event that there is an issue/problem with your outfit please inform us within 24 hours of receiving the outfit. We will not be able to look into any complaints outwith this timeframe. If any dress is made with the measurements that are not within provided measurements by customer we will provide a free fix. Such dresses may be altered (if possible) to suit your needs and then shipped back to you at our expense. Alterations can be made to the outfit orders but they cannot be returned for a refund. All outfits are made on order. If an order is under process and is cancelled by a customer after 5 days of placing the order, we would deduct 20% late order cancellation charges.
